00Cr22Ni5Mo3N Stainless Steel Composition & Duplex Properties

00Cr22Ni5Mo3N is a duplex stainless steel specified in GB/T 4237 and GB/T 4238. With a balanced austenite-ferrite microstructure and approximately 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum and controlled nitrogen, it offers higher strength and better chloride resistance than conventional austenitic grades.

In the solution-annealed condition, the grade provides a minimum yield strength of 450 MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 620 MPa while maintaining good toughness and weldability. It is commonly used in seawater exchangers, chemical tanks, desalination equipment, and flue gas desulphurisation systems.

00Cr22Ni5Mo3N is available as plates, strips, and coils. It is widely used in offshore engineering, chemical processing, and chloride-bearing industrial service.
