3Cr13 Stainless Steel Composition & Martensitic Strength Properties
3Cr13 is a martensitic stainless steel specified in GB/T 4237 and GB/T 4238. Containing approximately 12–14% chromium with a carbon range of 0.26–0.35%, it offers good heat-treating capability and higher hardness after quenching compared with 2Cr13.
After quenching and tempering, the grade achieves enhanced strength and wear resistance while maintaining moderate corrosion resistance. It is commonly used in cutting tools, nozzles, valve seats, and wear-resistant mechanical parts.
3Cr13 is available as plates, bars, and strips. It is widely used in cutlery manufacturing, machinery parts, and wear-resistant industrial applications.
