0Cr17Ni12Mo2 Stainless Steel Composition & Molybdenum‑Alloyed

0Cr17Ni12Mo2 is a molybdenum‑alloyed austenitic stainless steel specified in GB/T 4237 and GB/T 4238, comparable to international 316 grades. With approximately 17% chromium, 12% nickel, and 2% molybdenum, it provides enhanced resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride‑containing environments.

The grade is widely used in seawater systems, chemical equipment, food‑processing machinery, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and pump components. Compared with standard 304 stainless steel, it offers significantly improved corrosion resistance in marine and chemical applications.

0Cr17Ni12Mo2 is supplied as sheets, strips, plates, tubes, and bars. It is a preferred material for marine engineering, chemical processing, pharmaceutical facilities, and high‑purity systems.
