00Cr17Ni14Mo2 is a Chinese National Standard (GB) austenitic stainless steel, known for its ultra-low carbon content (≤0.03%) and high molybdenum concentration (2-2.5%). This unique composition gives it two key features: first, exceptional resistance to intergranular corrosion, even after exposure to high temperatures during welding or heat treatment; second, strong resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in aggressive media like sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and seawater.​
