2B Finish AISI 316L Stainless Steel Coils Onsale

AISI 316L is flat rolled coil stainless steel, which has an extra-low carbon content and is a variation of Alloy 316. The low carbon content is necessary in welding applications for avoiding carbide precipitation.

Surface Finishes:

2B Finish—Smooth finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling. The cold rolling is accomplished with polished rolls giving it a brighter finish than 2D.

2D Finish—Dull finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling. Used for deep drawn parts and those parts that need to retain lubricants in the forming process.

BA Finish— Bright annealed cold rolled and bright annealed.
